Matthews Beach House Grows Up

This was a modest cottage in the Mathews Beach neighborhood with sweeping views of Lake Washington and Mt Rainier. The owners loved it but it was time to make this cottage into something more for the long term. Our design included an upper level master suite and "multipurpose" room with a wrap-around deck, plus a large covered and open porch on the main floor for entertaining in all weather, transforming this "cottage" into a spectacular lakeside perch!
