This Seattle remodel breathed new life into one of those ubiquitous 60's ramblers. The intention was to update the house overall, opening up the small, enclosed rooms to open, flowing spaces. We strategically removed walls, introduced new materials (steel, fir trim), and created a new kitchen with eating bar. From the outside, one glimpses a hint of the modernization with a larger expanse of windows and sleek metal handrails.
