New Life for an Old Craftsman

This Seattle design build project was a one story craftsman in fair condition but in need of a new larger kitchen and a second floor. We added a large dormer out the back to obtain a master suite and a guest bedroom and bath upstairs; and opened-up the main floor dramatically. The resultant spaces are respectful of their craftsman roots, but introduce a contemporary elegance and openness to the house.
